The Fight of Faith

Devotions:

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”  1 Timothy‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Often times when people are in a fight of faith, they give up too easily.  We already have the victory but the enemy is very persistent. We must stand our grounds on the word of God being absolutely convinced that God’s word is truth.  When you are faced with a life or death situation that you need to be totally sure of the rock you are standing on.  You must be convinced of the authority that the Father has given you and have practiced using that authority.  No one goes to war without training in tactics, strategy, weaponry. No matter how good the weapon is if you do not know where the safety is or how to properly use it, the weapon is almost useless to you. We have the weapons of our warfare that are spiritual and more powerful than any natural weapon. We have the name of Jesus, the name above every other name. At His name, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord. Jesus gained His name through conquest, He inherited His name and it was bestowed upon Him because He humbled Himself to die for mankind.

We also have the word of God which when we believe it and release it through the words that we say, it will not return to God without doing all that God has sent it to do. If it is a revelation on healing then when it is applied, it will heal. Satan uses circumstances to try to convince that God’s word is not working and will not work for us. God is no respecter of persons. That is what He does for one, He will do for all who believe Him.
