God's Plan or My Plan?

Devotions:
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: and that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 KJV
The third thing that we die to by accepting Christ, is our own plans and desires. When we received Jesus and His salvation we changed lords.
We were under the lordship of Satan through Adam. In receiving Jesus as Savior, we also acknowledge Him as the Lord of our lives. In reality, we no longer live as the old man.
Christ lives within us. Jesus was totally obedient to the Father. The life that he gave us is one of total obedience. We died to the sinful, disobedient old man and were raised to an obedient life unto God.
We need to find out God's plan for our lives, and through the leading of the Holy Spirit follow that plan, and not our own.
