Faith To Live By!

Devotions:

We know that without faith it is impossible to please God.

“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” ‭Romans‬ ‭12:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So every believer has a measure of faith and it only takes faith the size of a mustard seed to move a mountain. Too often we walk by our feelings and not what the Bible says.  We do not feel that we have faith and that is what we say which destroys the measure of faith we have been dealt.  When we say what the Bible says regardless of the way we feel then we will see our faith grow and produce.  As we meditate on Romans 12: 3 and confess it about ourselves then we will walk in the God pleasing faith.  When our faith does not seem to be producing we will look at what may hinder our faith but we will not give up saying that we just do not have faith.

Our faith grows as we feed it on the word of God and act upon it.  Like our muscles get strong as we eat the right food and exercise them.

“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Faith is not to be a periodic occruance but a lifestyle.  Every part of our life is to be in faith looking to God's abundant provision in Christ Jesus.  God is to be involved in every part of our lives from the time we get up in the morning to the time we go to bed at night and all night long.  Every breath that we take is because of God. As Paul says in the book of Acts, "In Him we live and move and have our being."  He is the strength of our life.  He is everything that we need to live a godly life and be successful. We access this wonderful life by faith. Faith that is built up and established on His word.  You have a measure of the God kind of faith. Confess it daily and strengthen it in the word of God daily.
