Righteousness

Devotions:

When we know our righteousness we become fearless in the face of our enemies.  When sickness and disease try to attack we are confident in our hearts that we are their master not that they are our masters. We are not hoping to get healed, hoping that our God will hear our prayers and answer positively, we know that He hears and gives us the desires of our hearts.  The adversary is a defeated foe and we stand in the place of mastery over all the works of the evil one. We were made just like Jesus and raised with Him and seated in heavenly places in Him at the right hand of the Father, the place of honor and authority.  This is what our righteousness in Him means.  We will no longer cower in the face of calamity or the opposistion but as we walk in Him we just bring it to His attention.  Poverty and lack no longer have any sway over us. We first speak to Him then we speak to the situation in authority knowing that  the need is met.  Even though the problem may seem to persist we keep speaking out faith that our Father has made us the victors not the victim. This righteousness is not of our own works but totally of His work. When we esteem the work of God we no longer accept sin consciousness that tries to dominate us and steal our faith.  We do not look to our own work but we keep focused on His work and the cleansing blood of Jesus that totally paid the price for all of our sins.

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬
