His Nearness is My Good

Devotions:

The nearness of God is our salvation.  We try and try to do the right things but in our own strength we fail every time. But when we cry out to the Lord to draw us close to Him and draw near to Him, His presence will save us, that is set us free from the sins tha try to destroy us.  Only as we confess those sins as sins that He can set us free.  If you think that sickness is from God then you cannot get set free or else you will be found opposing God. But sick is not from God! When you ignore symptoms of the disease and refuse to deal with the symptoms because it is too much trouble then God cannot set you free even though God already paid the full price for you deliverance.  Then same is with sin, if you think that it is God punishing you then you will not receive deliverance or if you fail to acknowledge the sin then God cannot set you free because you are the one with the authority on earth over your own will.  God will not violate your authority over your own will but there are conquences for the actions that we take that we cannot escape. But God will take those conquences and turn them from a curse, if they are negative, and turn them into a blessing as we bring them to Him in prayer.  Romans 8 :28

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” ‭James‬ ‭4:8-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Once again, our salvation is from His presence which we should walk in by faith daily.
