Signs, Wonders and Miracles

“Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.”  ‭John‬ ‭2:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There are positive miracles and negative miracles spoken of in the Bible.  In the book of Revelations the AntiChrist and the false prophet are given power to do miracles to cause the people who have refused the truth to believe a lie.

We see here that Jesus did miracles that were a testimony of that He was sent from the Father.  This miracle was the turning water into wine other miracles were healing and restoring limbs, raising the dead, multiplying five loaves of bread and two fish to feed 5000 men besides women and children.  Another time He fed four thousand men plus women and children with four loaves and a few fish both times they had more food left over Than what they started with.  The common people saw these miracles and were convinced that He was the Messiah.  The religious leaders saw the same miracles and yet refused to believe.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.”  ‭John‬ ‭14:12‬ ‭NASB‬‬

We believers then are to do the works of Jesus and greater works, signs, wonders and miracles to testify of God's great love for people, to testify that God is alive and has accepted them.

Jesus' only requirement to do these miracles what that we believe that we are able as empowered by God.  As we meditate on the miracles that Jesus did until we see ourselves doing them then we will do them.  It is the day of miracles! It is the time for believers to rise up and take their heritage, the souls of men and women, to win them to the Lord through the demonstration of the manifestations of the Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12.
