Healing

Devotions :
Throughout the Gospels there are incidents of Jesus healing everyone who came seeking healing. Healing is a part of salvation, it is a part of the Gospel. There is never an incident when Jesus refused to heal because in healing He was demonstrating the kingdom of Heaven. In the Gospels there are 19 individual cases of healing and then there are mass cases of healing.
“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.”
Matthew 8:16-17 KJV
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8 KJV
Jesus came to fulfill for all time that healing was available for all. In the Gospels the people came to Jesus for healing but in His resurrection He has placed healing within each person who is born again. We must walk out our healing by faith that we already have it. The key is to believe you have the healing even in the face of pain and misery. This is very difficult.
The word of God reveals Jesus so for us to walk in healing we need to saturate ourselves with the word concerning healing. Healing is ours we are just believing the testimony of the word over the testimony of our senses that tell us that we are sick.
The other part is to praise God in the face of the contradictory circumstances that we are already healed and not trying to get healed by our praises. Praise is a demonstration of faith in what God has said is true.
